U.S. Classic Arcades Map

I’ve begun maintaining a map of places to play classic arcade games in the United States. All of these locations have more than 10 vintage video games, with a focus on the period from 1972 to about 1987. It’s not an exact science, and there are a few with addresses I couldn’t get maps to play nice with, but I’ll add those over time. I’ve also excluded private arcades at the moment, since I would feel uncomfortable adding one of those without getting specific permission from the owner.

I haven’t been to all of these arcades. The listings are based on the best information I could find at the present. I excluded any I couldn’t find information on from the past 6-12 months, as, sadly, that may well mean they’ve closed. Not everything on the map is an arcade, per se. There are some midways and pizza places and that sort of thing. If you have better information on one of these — that it has closed, for example — please do let me know. Similarly, if you know of a classic arcade-type place that isn’t on the map, let me know that, too. I’ll add it.

I’m hoping this can serve as a resource for researchers and classic game fans looking for places to play.
